What "4/4 Verified" Means
All assertion checks passed—domain ownership confirmed, code audited, brand kit complete, pitch deck investor-ready. Buyers see the quality. You keep the revenue.
Every Listing Includes:
How the Marketplace Works
Listings are free. LAPDOG only takes 10% when you make a sale. You keep 90% of every transaction. Here's the complete flow from build to revenue.
Build your brand on LapDog
Start with a new idea or choose an existing build from your project history. Give LapDog your product description, and get domain, brand copy, design system, landing page, pitch deck, and code in ~15–25 seconds.
Click 'List Your Build' (takes <2 minutes)
No friction. No approval process. Select the build you want to sell, set your price or leave it open for offers, and hit publish. The Marketplace auto-packages everything—domain, code, brand kit, pitch deck, copy, design files, and spec sheet.
Buyers see verified assets
Every listing displays your build's verification badge (4/4 Verified means all assertion checks passed). Buyers know exactly what they're getting: domain, full-stack code, brand kit, pitch deck, copy, design system, and technical spec. No surprises.
Buyer makes an offer or buys at your price
Your listing goes live on the Marketplace feed. Buyers can purchase at your listed price or submit an offer. You see all incoming offers in real time and can accept or counter.
LAPDOG takes 10%, you keep 90%
Sale complete. LAPDOG deducts 10% for marketplace operations and payment processing. You keep 90%. If your build sells for $1,000, you receive $900. (LAPDOG Bank integration coming soon for instant payouts.)
Assets transfer immediately
Buyer gets instant access to all assets. Domain registration is transferred, code is downloaded, brand kit and pitch deck are theirs. They're ready to launch. You're ready to build the next one.
What buyers receive with every listing
Why 10%?
The 10% take rate covers marketplace operations, payment processing, fraud prevention, verification checks, and the infrastructure that makes buying and selling verified business builds possible. You keep 90% because the work—the brand, the code, the strategy—is yours. LAPDOG just runs the marketplace that connects you to buyers.
No hidden fees. No listing costs. No monthly dues. No approval process. You only pay when you sell, and only then.
Common questions
Can I list a build I didn't create on LapDog?
Not yet. Currently, only builds created in your LapDog account are listable. We're exploring marketplace for external assets in future versions.
What if a buyer doesn't pay?
LAPDOG handles payment processing and fraud prevention. We verify buyers, process payments securely, and only release assets to your buyer once payment clears. You're protected.
Can I set my own price?
Yes. You decide the asking price. You can also leave it open for offers. LAPDOG's valuation report (included in Operator and Sovereign plans) gives you guidance on pricing based on market comps and your build's specifics.
How long does it take to sell?
No guaranteed timeline. Some builds sell within hours; others take weeks. The Newsreel shows every new listing in real time, so visibility is immediate. Pricing, category, and market demand determine speed.
Can I delist or edit a listing?
Yes. You can update your price, description, or delist anytime from your dashboard. If an offer is pending, you can accept, counter, or decline.
What happens to my build after it sells?
The buyer gets ownership of the assets (domain, code, brand). You keep the original files in your account. You can still use them as a reference or template for future builds, but the buyer owns the transferred assets exclusively.
